    Meteor 4 on June 17 1952 from RAF Driffield killing an unnamed Iraqi Captain


    Serial and name if possible please

    Crash 2


    Harvard on 6 May 1952 killing Syrian Air Force pilot, Lieut. Edmund Youssaf Jamal (24), and an RAF flying instructor, Flt.-Lieut. Robert Herrick (33) from RAF Syerston

    Maybe NOT Meteor 4 for first one

    But I have a name Mohammed A R ALI-ANI aged 28

    Some newspapers quote him Pakistani

    Meteor is

    F.4 VT344 of 203 AFS, at Burn Butts Farm 4m S of Great Driffield, the aircraft flew into ground after a night take off.

    Would like confirmation of Pilot nationality and name if possible

    According to Last Take-Off by Colin Cummings

    Harvard T2B KF300 = The trainee is listed as

    Second Lieutenant E Y Jamal of Lebanese Air Force


    Meteor F4 VT344 -

    203 AFS - Cause listed as 'The aircraft took off normally and started a turn but then began a fairly rapid descent and crashed into the ground, It was considered that the pilot used faulty instrument flying.

    Captain listed as A R AL-ANI - Royal Iraqi Air Force
