    Default Most decorated bomber crew

    Hi,

I've been browsing through my Bomber Command Losses volumes quite a bit latley and wondered what was the most decorated crew to be lost.

I noticed one crew that had 7 DFC's, 3 of them to the pilot.

35 Sqn Lancaster III ME361/TL-H shot down on op to Hemmingstedt 7 March 1945.

Sqn Ldr D B Everett DFC and 2 Bars
Plt Off K G Munro RAAF
Fly Off J M Aylieff DFC
Flt Lt C G Mitchell DFC RCAF
Flt Lt C O Russell DFC
    Flt Lt R C Chapman
Fly Off R M Weller DFC
    Fly Off A H Pidgeon

Quite a high ranking crew as well.

Info from BCL 1945 by W R Chorley.

    Hi Mark, John
