    MANNING, Percival Joseph - Sgt - 328000 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Park Hospital, Hither Green,
    London.

    McFARLANE, Henry Barkley - Air Artificer 3c - FX.76711 - thr UK British Army and Navy BMD records record that he died due to a cerebral haemorrhage at R.N.A.S. Station Crail, Fife. His name is recorded as Henry Harkley McFarlane.

    BATH AIRMAN MURDERED
    Attacked By Native At Egypt Camp
    Sub.-Sergeant William John Boultbee Whall, R.A.F., only son of Capt. W. O. C. Whall, M.N, of Upton Lodge, Newbridge Road, Bath, was murdered while on duty by armed natives who raided his camp near Great Bitter Lake, Egypt, on april 21. He was shot through the head.
    Sgt. Whall, who was single, was 27.
    He was educated at Rendcombe College, Cirencester, and was born at Fayerland, Eastbourne.
    Sergt. Whall had been in the R.A.F. for 10 and a half years, and was in charge of aircraft maintenance at the camp [his unit was 107 M.U.].
    His father, now at the Admiralty, is and ex-Commander, R.N.R., and Younger Brother of Trinity House.
    Sergt. Whall's grandfather was the late Capt. W. B. Whall, S.R.A.F.
