    SYMONS, John Anthony - LAC - 1403230 - registered Cardiff.

    The Gloucestershire Echo of April 28th 1947 reported the following:

    2 R.A.F. MEN KILLED
    Following a crash on the Great North Road at Norman Cross, near Peterborough, early to-day, two airmen died in Peterborough Hospital, and five others were detained there with injuries.
    The lorry in which they were travelling from Peterborough North L.N.E.R. station to Abbots Ripton (Hunts.) R.A.F. camp, came into collision with a heavy commercial lorry, and the side of the canvas-covered lorry was ripped off.
    The dead are A.C. Percy McFadden Lutton, 23, Muirdykes Avenue, Glasgow, and A.C. Eric Wild, 18, of Cromwell Crescent, Big Hill, Doncaster.
