Hi Alex,
Beaufighter NE353 crashed on take off with 455 Sqn, the pilot P/O N A Wilson RAAF 420310 on the 1 May 1944. The Nav F/Sgt Ted Holmes won a George Medal for his efforts to rescue his pilot who died.
I have a photo of Neville and his grave if you are interested.

To add to your list, Beaufighter NE206 of 455 Sqn lost on a strike off the Dutch coast on 6 May 1944, both pilot F/L B Atkinson and Nav F/Sgt J A Whitburn killed.
