    Hi Pete,
If I may, I would like to give a plug for the website I am developing, www.576squadron.com which is very much in its infancy, and not much past the home page, but will become what I hope will be one of the most comprehensive histories of a Squadron ever written. This is a huge project with thousands of documents and photographs to preserve the history of the Squadron for posterity.
    Mant thanks,
    Matt Wood

This is pretty much a coincidence as I wanted to make a request on similar lines.

ARe there good websites out there that lists the casualities by aircraft and date for particular squadrons - it will help me much with my work on the CWGC DB updates

    An example

    49 Squadron - http://www.49squadron.co.uk/ with its losses page http://www.49squadron.co.uk/losses/ww2_losses

    Hello

I seem to remember a very old post which listed existing websites about RAF units, probably on TOCH, but this was more than 10 years ago. I remember an australian website about No. 463 and 467 Squadron, whose webmaster added every month one month from the ORB of each, and eventually covering the whole wartime of these two Lancaster units. Alas one family of an airman belonging to one of them complained, so he shut it down. I think he eventually restarted it.

Quite sure there's a website for 207 Squadron, and one for 158 Squadron as well. Plenty of others around for sure.

As you probably know, I am piecing together one on No 35 Squadron (as and when time permits)

    https://35squadron.wordpress.com/
    Main areas of research:

    - CA Butler and the loss of Lancaster ME334 (http://rafww2butler.wordpress.com/ )
    - Aircrew Training (Basic / Trade / Operational / Continuation / Conversion)
    - The History of No. 35 Squadron (1916 - 1982) (https://35squadron.wordpress.com/)

[Always looking for copies of original documents / photographs etc relating to these subjects]
