Jack - As the board moderator i have the following requests for you.

-Open one thread per aircraft loss you are researching - opening one thread for every crew member is not the the best way of asking for info,
-For aircraft serial skip the space between the letters - LL280 is right - LL 280 is wrong format. the forum software and code helps in bringing it up in search results when there is no space in the serial. Eg http://www.rafcommands.com/database/...php?uniq=LL280 brings up the first post of this thread - While we are at it - do check the link - it throws up an old thread from our archived forum as well.
-There is no need to reproduce your email in every post. you can just have it in your profile page and if people want to establish contact, they will.

    Hello,

Oblt Czerwinski was flying with 1./KG51, not Stab/KG51. 1./KG51 was based at Dreux/St Andre. He was piloting a Me 410 A, not a Ju 88. His claim was @ 03.02, not 0320, at 3,000m, N.W. Tours. Czerwinski claimed his first victim the previous night on 6/7 May, 1944, (@ 02.27), a 156 Sqn Lancaster, ND449, according to Dr Theo Boiten (NWD2/41-3).

    Hello Sagan,
Thank you for your message and for your help. I'm new here...
    - I'm not convinced by your first point. If we're looking for a plane, I think like you. But if we search for airmen, I think that by posting their names in each title, we are more fortunate to be "found " by a person who will know the name... but who does not necessarily know the plane. That's why I made a title and a thread by aviator.
    - Ok I understand about LL280 or LL 280!
    - Sorry I didn't manage to put my email address in my Profile page...

    Hello Alain (are you french?),
Thank you very much for your message and for this information.
    I don't have it.
    Thank you for your help.

    Hello Col Bruggy,
Thank you for the news information. I think that Me 410 is "better" than a Ju 88. Yes the place, St Denis d'Orques (72), is well in NW of Tours.
Have you some other names of german who have shot down planes in Sarthe?
    Thank you for your help.
