Default RCAF Officer's List by marioso98

Forum member marioso98 shared this spreadsheet that i have put up on Google.

Could You publish that list of first 2000 RCAF Service Number on forum ? I think other forum members can help in supplementing or correcting the list.

I compiled the list mainly based on Ottawa Gazette, rcafassiotiation.ca or some Squadron’s ORB.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

The sheet is a public sheet - free to download but also very easy to "Update".. please do take a shot at it.

    Hi Mariusz,
    Insert, please, yourself:

    17 John Henry Tudhope
    28 George Albert Mercer
    44 Reginald John Grant
    64 Alfred Alexander Leitch
    253 Charles Hope Brereton
    279 Edouard Octave Champagne
    289 Frank Street Coghill
    371 Norman Gladstone Forester
    513 Edwin Albert Magee
    650 William Frederick Shaylor

    I found G. P. Silke C658, not C685 (?)

    Hi Mojmir,

Silke has entries under both numbers. I just wrote his Christian names in where i first saw it, which was under C658. Marioso98 can sort it out.

    Regards,

    Dave

    Hi Mariusz,

Can you confirm F L TRETHOWEY's initials and spelling of his surname.

I found one which is quite close, save for initials, and wondering if he was a F/Lt at the time, hence the F L?

    Thanks,

    Dave

    Hello Mojmir,

    Re: Morfee.

I was going on two sources for the spelling of his middle name. One is Hugh Halliday's Honours and Awards database.

The second was the Ottawa Citizen of 3 June 1943, pg 19, where "In a divorce action heard by Mr. Justice Ainslie W. Greene at the Supreme Court of Ontario assizes yesterday, Air Commodore Arthur Laurence Morfee,
RCAF Headquarters was granted a decree nisei"

    Regards,

    Dave
