    Default ID RAAF WW2 Pilot 'Ted' Shaw later Chief Test Pilot Hawker de Havilland Australia

    Can anyone please ID the above RAAF WW2 Pilot 'Ted' Shaw later Chief Test Pilot Hawker de Havilland Australia

    he was involved in following incident

    13/12/57
    Vampire Mk 35,
    A79-610
    HDH Bankstown, NSW
    Mr E 'Tedí Shaw (de Havilland test pilot)
    6 nm south of RAAF Richmond, NSW
    Pilot unable to recover from spin during pre-delivery test flight and ejected at about 10,000 ft without injury.

    Sydney Morning Herald identifies him as Mr Edward Shaw, 32, of Berowra in an article dated 14 December 1957.
