Default BRTU abbreviation in Service Record

Is anyone familiar with the abbreviation BRTU which appears in a pilot's service record. I have not been able to find the this in any list of abbreviations or in any list of Training Units, which is what I imagine it is.

    Chris,

Is it possible that your "R" is an "A"?

If so, Beam Approach Training Unit. I've seen it sometimes as "Blind Approach Training Unit".

    Regards,

    Dave

If we know the airfield/date where this Unit was located, then the list of Units at that airfield should give the answer?
