The pilot of NH583 that crashed at Deurne was F/O Henri Taymans. He was Belgian.
Taymans was uninjured and returned to the squadron.
He was killed on 28.11.44 when we was hit by Flak attacking mashalling yards at Zwolle.
I have a copy of Henri Taymans Log Book.
    I belive the aircraft NH583 was coded 9N A.
I also have the AM Form 1180 for this accident.
    Regards
    Andy
