Default Lt Ernest Isaac Riley dob 20 Nov. 1897 transferred to RAf - Looking for info

    #213862 - Pte CAMC
    #34556 - RAF
    26-01-1918 - Cadet
    16-07-1918 - Observer

    20-07-1918 - Missing over France
    17-09-18 - POW wounded
    Reserve Lazarette 5, Hanover

I received the 5 pages from the National Archives with very little information. Could have been his first an only time up.
    Is there anything else available.

Apparently he was a Lieut. Shot down and shot but landed on top of trees in a wooded area.
He was in a POW camp. Only note is he was in Reserve Lazarette 5, Hanover. Maybe he was in hospital until sent home in 1919.

Any help would be appreciated. I am doing this research for the Rotary Club of Cottam, Ontario and Ernest Riles was a original officer and they would like to make something to commemorate him. I am also collecting information on all the Veterans of Gosfield North Township, County of Essex, Ontario which includes the small villages of North Ridge, Cottam, Albuna and Elford.

Thank you so much for all the excellent information and documents. Looks like the RAF Museum should be the first place to look.
