    HODGES, Joseph Thomas - Cpl - 1643078 - the National Probate Calendar record that he died at The County Hospital, Minster, Isle of Sheppey, Kent.

    McLAUCHLAN, William - W/O (Cadet) - 355063 - registered Wenlock, Shropshire.

    PENFOLD, Edward Arthur - LAC - 1869383 - registered Westminster.

    STARKEY, David Ronald - LAC - 1709262 - registered Swindon.

    WRIGHT, Frederick Sidney - Cpl - 613816 - the Nottingham Journal of July 11th 1947 reported that he was killed when he stepped in front of an undergound train at Trinity Road (Tooting Bec) station. He had applied for a compassionate posting nearer home, which had been rejected. A verdict that "deceased took his own life while the balance of the mind was disturbed" was returned by the Coroner.

    CANADA
    SMITH, Eustace Maitland - F/Lt - C/8449 - his R.C.A.F. Service File recoards that he died at Toronto, Ontario, due to "cardiac insufficiency due to hypertensive cardiovascular renal disease." He had retired on medical grounds in September 1944.

    William McLauchlan 355063 , attached to the OCTU, was admitted seriously ill to RAF Hospital Cosford suffering with an intestinal obstruction on 22 March, where he died of carcinoma of the colon
