Default Chalk 450 Operation Market Garden

    Good Afternoon Everyone

Glider, Chalk 350 landed on LZ.Z on 17 September 1944 during Operation Market Garden. On board was Major Arthur Norman-Walker, OC 1 Battery, 1st Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery who was killed in action 5 days later.

I am trying to find any further information about Chalk 450, particularly, details of any others on board, the airfield from which it left the UK and details of the towing aircraft and crew.

Any help at all will be much appreciated

    Kind Regards

In my text I notice that I have made an error insofar as I have referred to Chalk 350, The correct number should be CHALK 450
