    Hello

    UK
ASHBY, Frederick Philip - AC1c - 2314655 - the Leamington Spa Courier of December 26th 1947 reported that he died after being shot in the back with a shot-gunby his father at their home. He died at the Warneford Hospital. The article reports the father's trial, in which he was found not guilty of murder, but guilty of manslaughter. He was sentenced to 10 years' penal servitude.
An article in the Birmingham Gazette of December 11th 1947 added a little more information:
Witnesses say the they saw him [Frederick Ashby, the father] leave the house, doubled up with pain and saying he had been kicked, fetch a gun and shoot his son in the back through a window. It was pleaded for the father that he event was the culmination of a long series of insults, threats and violence by his son, of whom Ashby said he was afraid, and who, it was stated, had been bound over in 1946 on a summons for using violence against his father.

    GRIMSHAW, Robert - AC2c - 2233674 - registered Fylde.

ROLFE-ROGERS, Ranville George - Sqn/Ldr - 75200 - a family tree on ancestry.co.uk records that he died due to throat cancer. The National Probate Calendar records that he died at Princess Mary's R.A.F. Hospital, Halton.

WILSON, Henry Baird - F/Lt - 50092 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Bishops Court, County Down.

SNEDDON, Robert Summers - Cadet (Nav) - 579209 - the Dundee Evening Telegraph of July 28th 1947 reported that he was died due to injuries sustained in a road traffic accident near Harrogate. He was travelling in a truck which went through the parapet of a bridge and fell into the river below.
The Yorkshire Post of July 28th 1947 reported that he accident happened at Harewood Bridge on the River Wharfe on Saturday July 26th. He and two other airmen had been given a lift by the driver of the civilian truck, and Sneddon was trapped under it when it somersaulted and landed upside down into the river.
