    69714 LAC Francis Roy BIFFIN RAAF (ex-No.5 Aircraft Depot, Wagga Wagga, New South Wales ), was officially discharged from the RAAF on 20 November, 1945. He died (suddenly), of an unspecified illness in Balmain Hospital, Sydney, N.S.W., on 8 August, 1947.

    AUSTRALIA.

    1163 Gp Capt Sydney Fancourt McDONALD RAAF.

    1163 Gp Capt Dr. Sydney Fancourt McDONALD RAAF (Medical Branch), (OBE), BM. FRCP. FRCAP, (also Mentioned in Despatches). McDonald served in the RAMC in WWI. Dr. McDonald was commissioned in the RAAF in 1937 and transferred from the Reserve to the Active Force on 1 September, 1939. He served with distinction during WWII, and passed away at his Brisbane home ("Craigston"), from cardio-renal failure, on 8 August, 1947.

    BRIDLE, Horace Stanley - Cpl - 542288 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at R.A.F. Hospital St. Athan.
