Hello
UK
CARMICHAEL, Every William - F/Lt - 192318 - Evory William Carmichael. A family tree on ancestry.co.uk records that he was born August 1892, Richmond, Surrey. He joined the U.S. Marines in 1912, and the Muster Roll of the 40th Company at Guam in February 1915 records that he was a trumpeter, and had enlisted under the name 'Cameron Gordon' after having lied about his name, age and place of birth - he told them he was born at Palo Alto in 1890. He returned to the UK in December 1915.
He took his R.A.C. Aviator's Certificate in 1938 at Bedford Aero Club.
DAVIES, David - LAC - 1022218 - there's a 39-year-old David Davies, registered September 1947 at St. Helens.

Simon
Hello,
AUSTRALIA.
62345 LAC Richard John REILLY RAAF.
62345 LAC (former Air Gunner) Richard John REILLY RAAF, became ill whilst whilst on his honeymoon in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. He passed away, on 23 August, 1947, in Lismore Hospital a fortnight later. Reilly had previously served as an air gunner in the SWPA. He had been discharged in 1945, but rejoined the RAAF on ground staff duties at RAAF Amberley, Queensland. LAC Reilly had taken some leave to marry the former Miss Olga Hollands, of Byron Bay and Lismore. The priest that married the happy couple, had the unfortunate duty of officiating at LAC Reilly's funeral a fortnight later.
Col.
