You ought to be able to find them all in AIR78 or have the proved elusive in there? there is a viewer on the website, no need to download

    Pete,

A few minor points, and a query.

It appears you were already aware of the forename of Grange:

    https://630squadron.wordpress.com/20...-january-1945/

Flight Sergeant Richard Grange (viii). R. Grange in footnote (viii).

You know that AUS429171 Angus Vernon CAMERON RAAF was an Australian, but you have him listed in your footnotes as "RNZAF"!

Would you have any idea when AUS437304 Geoffrey Trevor ALCOCK RAAF was posted in (and with which crew)? Was he posted in with Grange?

    Col.

Thanks Col, we updated Richard Grange this morning thanks to advice from Peter D
I'll correct Cameron and see what we can find for Alcock, back to you shortly.
Thanks Mojmir, we'll check the service number/details on that one,
    Thanks for that Simon.

    Hi Col

We cant find F/S Alcock in our transcript of "Postings In" but suspect that he did arrive with Richard Grange's crew. He flew with the crew on their first Op with 630 as Rear Gunner on 21/02/1945 according to the ORB but apparently he and McCallum swapped turrets after that Op and for the remainder of the crew's Ops McCallum flew as Rear Gunner with Alcock as Mid Upper. After their third OP he seems to have missed several Ops (he didnt operate with any other crew) but returned for the last 2 ops they flew 23/03/1945 and 13/04/1945. He was promoted Warrant Officer. It seems likely that he was repatriated with many of the RAAF lads in June 1945.

If we find more concerning him I will get back to you.
    kind regards
    PeteS
