Default Fighter Command Tactical Exercise 1937

    Hi,

On January 7th 1937 RAF Fighter Command carried out a 'large' tactical exercise which included a substaintial number of then front line fighters, it was supposed to be the largest of its kind to date.

Trying to find out what was actually involved, No.1 Groups light bombers were involved as I would presume it was a defensive exercise.

    Any pointers welcome.

Hi Steve, just an idea- have you tried to look into the Flight magazine in January 1937? Sometimes there were details about some large RAF exercises..
