    Default NA Help

    Hi,

Having a real problem trying to find the references ( if they exist ) for the station records books for the following under Air 28.

    RAF Usworth 1935-1940
    RAF West Freugh 1936-1940
    RAF Turnhouse 1936-1940
    RAF Upper Heyford 1936-1938

    Any help really appreciated.

    Regards

    Steve

West Freugh was probably recorded under its guise as an Armament Training Camp/Armament Training Station (from 1938) as these tended to be treated as the airfield rather than a lodger unit. Not sure about 4AOS and 4B&GS as these largely took over the ranges and the armament training side but with a different syllabus.

However a lot of the Armament Training ORBs are missing or incomplete.
