    Default Fairly Battle Undercarriage

    Hi,

Who would have lowered the undercarriage of a Battle manually?

    TIA

    Morning Steve,

There is a "Flight" cutaway in the Air Britain Battle File. The Undercarriage Emergency Lowering Handle is on the forward starboard side of the pilots cockpit just aft of the main instrument panel. Additionally there is an undercarriage hand pump low down on the starboard side of the pilots seat.

Access to both would only be available to the pilot in flight.
    regards
    Peter
