Default Seeking info about my biological grandfather, (136458) Kenneth Lister Kilner RAFVR

I have recently found out that my biological grandfather is a man called Kenneth L Kilner, who I believe was a bomber pilot or a pilot of some sort in WW2. I have found details of only one Kenneth L Kilner in my ancestry searches - a Kenneth Lister Kilner, who I have then found was a Flight Lieutenant in the RAFVR. I would love to know a bit more about him, particularly any photographs anyone might have, or details about where he was stationed, so I can work out how he met my grandmother.
Thank you so much in advance.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

Being unsure how much you already know, have you seen this:

    Hi Peter,
THank you for this! Can I ask how you knew his mother maiden name?

I found him in FREEBMD, and as his birth is after 1911 the Mother's Maiden Surname is recorded. I didn't bother to chase his parents marriage (and, therefore, any possible siblings) having assumed that as you have done some BMD researches you will be able to do this. You will know whether any locations make sense, whereas I wouldn't!!
    Good luck

Thank you Peter, that's really helpful. Interestingly, the marriage certificate records I have for his mother show her maiden name as McDermott, but her mother's maiden name appears to be listed as McDermont too. The search continues!
