Hello,
Seeking info on the death of AC2c J.G.Savin, date given is 22nd October, 1941.
Squadron is given as 797.

797 Sqn FAA was not existing in 1941. So was there an RAF squadron with that number ?
Thanks for any details
Alex

Hi Alex
It would have been 797 (Defence) Sqn at North Luffenham, which became No 2797 Sqn RAF Regiment in 1942
