Together with Graham MOORE, we have been researching the loss of the Lysander that crashed at North Molton, killing John Dene PARKER and Keith Langler FORD. They were returning to North Devon for Christmas and it appears their engine failed. PARKER tried to find somewhere to put the Lysander down and circled the village of North Molton. Sadly, the engine appeared to have been on fire, and the aircraft crashed at the edge of the churchyard killing both men. PARKER is buried at Horwood and FORD at Heanton Punchardon, both in North Devon.
