    Hello,

According to Ken Delve's, The Military Airfields of Britain - South-Western England - Channel Islands, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset (and) Wiltshire - Predannack (pp.208-212). There were no Spitfire squadrons permanently based at Predannack during October, 1943.

    Hello,
Just happens that I had FCL vol3 in hand.
    Page 145
    10 Group
    264 Sqn - Mosquito II - Predannack
    132 Sqn - Spitfire VB - Perranporth
    412 Sqn(RCAF) - Spitfire VB - Perranporth
    610 Sqn - Spitfire VB - Perranporth
    310 Sqn(Czech) - Spitfire VB - Exeter.

66 Sqn seems to have been over Cornwall in October :)
23rd W/O.D. Mace ( Spitfire VB AD260) and F/O. D. Baker ( Spitfire VB EP639) had a fatal collision over Perranporth during an ASR sortie.

On the 8th, 453 Sqn(RCAF) lost two pilots on a sweep south west of the Scilly Isles during an engagement with several Me110's.
    F/O. H. M. Parker ( Spitfire VB EP252 a/c"J" and F/O. R.H.S. Ewins ( Spitfire VB EP364 a/c "X".

May be Flights were at Predannack during the time you are researching. ORB's may help.

Alex your post was more than helpful! ORB preview showed 610 + 66 Squadrons were those I was looking for.
