Air Gunner training early 1942

Please can anybody advise on how many months a serving RAFVR ground trades chap who transitioned to aircrew could expect to spend on aircrew/air gunner training in early 1942?

Pete, In Canada, under the BCATP, the course at the Bombing and Gunnery School was originally four weeks and at some time in 1942 was extended to six weeks. Regards, Terry
