45814 LAC Edward Vaughan DAVIS RAAF.

45814 LAC (Armourer) Edward Vaughan DAVIS RAAF, (ex-No.5 Embarkation Depot), was officially discharged from the RAAF on 3 August, 1944. He died from the effects of an undisclosed illness on 10 December, 1947, at the Albany Government Hospital, Western Australia. Davis, who had been ill for some time, had served in Darwin at the time of the first Japanese air attack and had never completely recovered from an obscure illness he contracted in the tropics. He had been a prominent member of his local, Tenterden (N.S.W.) Cricket Club.

CONNOR, William - Cpl - 1081120 - ancestry.co.uk has a family tree which records his death registered in Manchester, aged 30.

COWOOD, Charles - F/O (Pilot) - 196541 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Linton-on-Ouse. The 64 Sqn ORB records that he was killed when his aircraft crashed as it came in to land after a weather test.

MILLER, Robert - LAC - 982504 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 10.25 a.m. at Robroyston Hospital, Glasgow, due to Pulmonary TB, from which he had been suffering for four years, toxaemia and cardiac failure.
