20088 F/Sgt (Clerk General) Thomas Michael METHVEN, RAAF Station, Canberra, A.C.T., was admitted to the Canberra Community Hospital on 11 December, 1947, to undergo a Tonsillectomy. On 13 December, 1947, after the operation, he was placed on the Seriouslly Ill List and died the same day from the effects of Collapse, and Pneumonia.
