Default Fl robert eustace lamb, vr-657066/161476

    Hello again,
I would like to know the DOB of Robert Eustace Lamb, and where he came from, he possibly came from Liverpool. He transferred in 1939 from the Army then served as a sgt pilot on 92 sqn in Jan 1941, later serving on 276 ASR sqn. He reached the rank of FL on 5-11-45. Any help would kick start my project. many thanks for all previous help.
    Best wishes, Roy

Ancestry.co.uk has a Robert Eustace Lamb on the Civil Registration Death Index, b. October 15th 1917 and died 1969, registered at Sutton, Greater London [presumably Sutton in Surrey].

A family tree has his place of birth as Norwich, and date of death as December 18th 1969. His wife was from Liverpool, and they married in Crosby in 1943.

There's a Robert E. Lamb on FreeBMD, registered Norwich, December 1917, m.m.s. Laelett [sic - the family tree on ancestry.co.uk has Laslett].

    Regards

    Simon

PS - the Forum went down just as I was about to post this - hope it works okay!
