    Hi guys

    Your responses to my many serial number related queries has been fantastic. May I request further help with the following, please:

    13/11/39 Skua 758(T) Sqn (Woodford killed)
    24/4/40 Gladiator RNAS Eastleigh (Marryat killed)
    3/7/40 Shark 774(T) Sqn (Miller killed)
    12/8/40 Proctor 755(T) Sqn (Eckersely/Snow killed)
    16/8/40 Shark 755(T) Sqn (Drane killed)
    30/8/40 753(T) Sqn (Williamson,Burden.Hare killed)
    26/9/40 Proctor 759(T) Sqn (Richardson killed)
    14/10/40 Two Walrus ditched Stornaway (Kirke and Joliffe and crews survived)

    Over to the experts. Any help appreciated.

    24/04/40 Sea Gladiator (Interim) N2301 Lt V C Marryat. Playing follow my leader and dived into ground 3m SW of Wilton, near Salisbury.

    Skua L3036, which Woodford had collected from 5 Mu. However, Smith in Skua: The Royal Navy's Dive Bomber states that Woodford was of 774 Squadron.

    There's quite a bit in the book about the incident. Would you like a scan Brian?

    12/8/40 Proctor 755(T) Sqn (Eckersely/Snow killed) P6113 on the 13th
    16/8/40 Shark 755(T) Sqn (Drane killed) K8471
    30/8/40 753(T) Sqn (Williamson,Burden.Hare killed) Shark K8913
    26/9/40 Proctor 759(T) Sqn (Richardson killed) Not Proctor but Master N7675, Wells DST also killed.
    14/10/40 Two Walrus ditched Stornaway (Kirke and Joliffe and crews survived) No record
