    Default Crash landing at Doncaster

I am trying to find out who was on board Wellington XIV when it crash landed at Doncaster aerodrome on 16th June 1945. The ORBs give virtually no information. The Wellington was being returned to Vickers for disposal and had been serving with 304 squadron and presumably was intended to be scrapped. Does anyone have any idea?

    Hello,

Might help if the aircraft was identified:

    Wellington XIV HF334 (QD-M) - 304 - Overshot landing and undercarriage collapsed, Doncaster, 16.6.45.

    RAF Aircraft HA100-HZ999/Halley/A-B/1989/p.32.

Richard Allenby hasn't got around to listing this postwar (Europe) event, as yet:

    Hello Col,

Thank you very much for your response. Please accept my apologies for not including the identification [senior moment]
