Hi all:

Been helping a family history researcher looking for info on W/C Robert Maycock, physician (*29.10.1915) He was one of the first two Drs to fly operational RAF aircraft in WW 2 and carried out much work in Spitfires testing effects of anoxia, high-G, etc,. Also did work with life jackets, immersion suits etc,. Best known for his 1957 book "Doctors in the Air".

Can anyone help with clues as to where he did his test-flights from and which units he flew with/at?

TIA,

Bob C
