We have also an archive thread to this casualty started by our good old Henk back in 2002 which has been answered:
    http://www.rafcommands.com/archive/00732.php
So why Samofal is still among "unaccounted airmnen"?

    Starszy Szeregowiec Franciszek SIENNICA (P/783949)

The second death was on 4th November 1942 when 783949 Franciszek Siennica, a Polish balloon operator committed suicide. Briefly it seems that this man had been at No. 1 Balloon Training Unit at Cardington from 15th October 1940 and was posted to 945 Squadron and subsequently to 929 Squadron on 1st August 1942. It appears that while on duty at site 929/50 (Ferryhills), he used his rifle to inflicted a chest wound and died at 21.30 hours. He was buried at Dunfermline on 7th November 1942.

Porucznik Adam Ludwik SCHULTZ (P/0783) Air Gunner
    304 Sq ORB:
Wellington R1704 came down in the sea while on low level training flioght in St. Bride's Bay and the two occupants F/O A. Schultz and F/O Skierkowski were lost. The crash was observed by the Master of a fishing Vessel.

We have cerail collision with another losses in AIR81/7204:
    http://www.rafcommands.com/database/....php?qnum=7204
due to the typo on TNA website - correct serial for AIR81/7204 loss is Wellington R1794 confirmed by 57 Sq ORB

The other member of the crew was pilot porucznik P-0978 Tadeusz Rafał Skierkowski - who seems to me is missing in our casualty DB?
