    Moving on to the 'Deaths in Canada' list:

    Leading Aircraftman John HARDYMENT (402518) R.N.Z.A.F - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he died at 14.15 hours at Station Hospital, Rivers, Manitoba, due to a cerebral haemorrhage. He was serving with 1 A.N.S.

    Leading Aircraftman Graham BUTT (798690) - reported 'dangerpusly ill' in the Globe and Mail, and the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he died in St. Anne's Military Hospital, Quebec, due to pleurisy and tubercular meningitis. Serving with 1 Wireless School.

    Leading Aircraftman Percy William Edward MILLER (641485) - died from injuries sustained when he fell from an engine servining platform while serving at 31 O.T.U.

    Flying Officer Trevor Ernest BRAMMALL (40336) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he died due to pulmonary TB. Serving with 31 A.N.S. at Port Albert.

    Aircraftwoman 2nd Class Mary Kathryn HEYSEL (W/300871) - killed in a car crash in Aylmer while on leave.

    Aircraftman 2nd Class Dennis John SHARPE (1219319) - the 'Croydon and the Second World War' memorial book records that he died while bird hunting and was struck by a ricochet from a companion's rifle.

    Leading Aircraftman Geoffrey Albert GRAY (1336606) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he accidentally drowned at Moyie Lake, near Cranbrook, B.C. Serving with 36 E.F.T.S.

    Sergeant James Gough POLSON R.N.Z.A.F. (414339) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he died at Edmonton, Alberta, after an operation for a brain tumour. Serving with 36 S.F.T.S. at Pearce, Alberta.

    Aircraftwoman 2nd Class Grace Audrey MOULSON (W/305964) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that she died of natural causes at the home of her father at Rossburn, Manitoba.

    Aircraftwoman 1st Class Elizabeth Genevieve WOODMAN (W/300727) - a family tree on ancestry.com records that she died at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal, due to meningitis.

    Leading Aircraftman Geoffrey FRITH (1433226) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he was killed by a propeller whilst crossong the tarmac in front of No. 1 hangar, St. Hubert, Quebec. Serving with 13 S.F.T.S.

    Sergeant Hazel Winnifred SEYMOUR (W/300861) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that her death was due to self-administered poison, and she died at the Station Hospital, No. 2 B & G School, Mossbank, Saksatchewan.

    Sergeant Norman Leslie STREETER (1337839) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he died at the Station Hospital, Swift Current, Saskatchewan, due to toxaemia caused by general peritonitis, the result of a ruptured appendix.

    Flight Sergeant John HOLLAND (1071582) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he died in P.E.I. Hospital, Charlottetown due to bronchio pneumonia and uraemia.

    Leading Aircraftman Evan John THOMAS (1026095) - the War Graves Register (Circumtances of Casualty) card records that he died after being fatally injured whilst horse riding at 20.00 hours. He was thrown from his horse after becoming involved with a private motor car on the corner of Edward Street and First Avenue, North Battleford, Saskatchewan, and suffered a fractured skull.

    Corporal Herbert BENTLEY (1098456) - killed in a car accident at Coldbrook, N.S. Serving with 36 O.T.U.

    Alfred John Belford Turner (30) at
    Adelaide, South Australia, on Saturday came as a shock to his relatives
    and friends in Childers. A message on
    Saturday morning stated that Aircraftsman Turner had collapsed suddenly and was being attended by specialists.
    Advice later in the day stated that he had passed away.

    AIRMAN'S DEATH
    The death occurred yesterday of
    L.A.C. Daniel Bresnahan. a Victorian, aged 20. at the R.A.A.F. fly
    ing training school, Mallala. Bresnahan had been suffering from a
    lacerated hand and had received an anti-tetanus injection.
    A post-mortem examination is being held today. The body will
    probably be taken to Melbourne tomorrow.

    MELBOURNE. Thursday.
    Leading- Aircraftman Kingsley Holman Sampson was killed
    when a service aircraft in which he was doing solo night
    flying dived Into the sea near Point Cook.
    At the time of the accident
    he was practising circuits and landings. The cause of the
    crash, in which the machine was wrecked, is obscure.
    Sampson, 23, was a native of Farrell's Flat, South Australia.
    He received his initial training in South Australia, and was
    then, posted to Point Cook for service flying training, Before
    enlistment he was a law clerk.

    James ("Bernie") Canty, former Parramatta Rugby Union
    player and a member of the

    years of age.
