Is this Jack Clement Robert Brown D.F.C. and Bar, from Canada? You can find some info about him here:

The undermentioned Pilot Officers are promoted to the rank of Flying Officer on the dates stated: —27th June 1940. Jack Clement Robert BROWN (40287).
Can't find his birth in FBMD (E&W) so might be Scotland or overseas?

The link to the RCAF Association mentions that he was born on February 18th 1918 in Toronto, Canada, and a family tree on ancestry.com records that he died on July 18th 2002 in San Antonio, Texas.

    Alain,
Posted in to 12 Sqn 30/1/44 from 1656 C.U., would appear to have been O.C. 'B' Flight (usually flew aircraft coded 'U'), to 1656 C.U. 25/8/44.
    Regards.
