    Default Who was Wing Commander Brice?

    I have him serving with RAF Helensburgh in 1942 testing flying boats but do not know anymore. Thank you

    D A Brice was a Flying Officer in 1942

    The only W/C Brice in the Air Force list for 1942 is Gordon Richard BRICE 29131 RAF

    It is possible that a War Substantive F/O could be an acting Wing Commander in WW2, it would have to be checked out. I am fairly certain that wartime RAF Lists did NOT include acting ranks, except perhaps for Air Rank officers.
