Default 35200 Wg Cdr Frank Harold Morton

Can anyone give me some information regarding F H Morton (service record?). He flew three times with 576 Sqn (once as a pilot on an air test and delivering a new aircraft, and twice on the jump set on Ops to Dresden and Duisberg with the Hardman crew in Feb 1945). I have his promotions etc from the London Gazette but I have no idea who he was or what he did. Any help would be appreciated!
Many thanks and a Happy New Year all
    Matt

    Matt,

With the exception of his commissioning to Pilot Officer, it appears this man spent the entire war in the Technical Branch.

He also was awarded a Bronze Star by the Americans in 1947. https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/...upplement/4585
