    Default F/O Sturgess Mystery Pilot

    Hi all,

A bit of a mystery and a problem.

F/O Sturgess who was on attachment from RAF Lossiemouth undertook an operation with 218 Squadron on March 12th 1941. He is not mentioned in the Squadron ORB, but is in the RAF Marham Station Records Book. There is no other mention of this officer.

Anyone any idea who he could be?

    TIA

    Steve,

Before being posted to command "B" Flight on No. 101 Squadron, S/Ldr RT Sturgess was an instructor at No. 30 OTU.

I don't have that portion of the No. 30 OTU ORB which would show where he was before Hixon.

    Regards,

    Dave
