    Default F/Sgt Ian John Armour Giodbolt, RAFVR 1335634.

    Hello again,
    Could anyone please tell me the DOB of F/Sgt Ian John Armour Godbolt,VR 1335634. who was born some where in the London area. He was later posted to 1682 Flt, any ideas where this unit was located and its aircraft in 22-6-43.

    Ian John Armour Godbolt (NB no ‘i’ in Godbolt?)
    b. might be recorded in SW Scotland (one of our unformed Met Men (Downie Gillies Armour) came from that area. Their stronghold is SW Scotland)
    m. Q3 1947 Mary J Buchanan Reg Brentford 5e 568.
    1682 (BD) Flt
    2 Jul 43 formed Stanton Harcourt.
    26 Feb 44 to Enstone.
    1 Aug 1944 disbanded Enstone.
    Used various Tomahawk a/c (RAFWEB - for which mni tks).
