    Default Your website

    Hi Stefan

An excellent site - you are to be congratulated on the research you have put in to it. On an initial look I can suggest one small change - "In Memoriam" the squadrons in the 4XX series are RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) and not RAF.

You will note that the relevant gravestone shows Royal Canadian Air Force and not Royal Air Force - you might of course find that some of the deceased are actually members of commonwealth air forces (RAAF, RNZAF, RCAF) serving in RAF squadrons, for example F/O G Mabee is RCAF although serving in 49 Squadron RAF.

    Hope this helps

    Allan

There seems to be something wrong - your link goes to a swimming pool sales website!

Not surprised, the original post, and mine, was in October 2011 ☹️

Since the US Internet Archive at last added keyword search (in addition to search on past url) it's become a little easier to find defunct sites like this.

It turns out that Stefan Ilsemann's Aviation Research Neustadt site was last updated in Mar 2016, the last Internet Archive "take" with at least partial content also dates to Mar 2016
    https://web.archive.org/web/20160320...tadt.de/about/
By 2018 if not earlier, IA refs indicate "domain for sale".

In the IA, it's not unusual for archived site copies to be incomplete.
As well, both timeline selection & take presentation are sensitive to browser type and settings prefs...

If you have a website of some depth and of wider interest, local National Web Archive initiatives (Aus, UK, NZ eg) may be better alternatives to consider if nominating a site for preservation, and to the benefit of future researchers.
