    Alain,
    The 12 Sqn O.R.B. also shows the Hentsch crew flying a sortie 20-21/2/44 on Stuttgart in Lancaster JB359 'Q'. Sgt.Birch flew as W/Op. on all the Hentsch crew's sorties and Sgt. Keveren was the regular A/B. Confusion may arise because they and their roles were transposed in the 12 Sqn. O.R.B. for their first two sorties.Incidentally, Keveren returned to 12 Sqn in November 1944, although I don't know whether he flew any more operational sorties there before being posted to 550 Sqn, where he flew nine more sorties as A/B in a number of crews.

    Thanks for the additional information. I went to the watermark versions of the ORB on the National Archives website and was confused by the differences - thanks for straightening that out. I also noticed that the ranks of some of the crew were mixed up between operations.
