Default DP Ballard / EL Brown (35 Squadron)

Can anyone shed any light on DP Ballard (service number and/or forenames required) who was killed in the 35 Squadron Boeing B-29 [Washington] WF570 loss on 14th December 1952.

Also, the same information required for EL Brown, lost in a flying accident in November 1951

Any help would be much appreciated

    Regards

    Pete

    Hello

I have a quick question about Everett Lennes Brown, D.F.C., who is buried in Darlington West Road Cemetery.

He died on November 10th [EDIT - 20th - finger trouble!] 1951, and his death was registered in Exeter, and PeteT's 35 Squadron website records that he was killed in a private aircraft owned and piloted by Sir William Stampe.

Can anyone provide details of this accident? I can't seem to find any mention of it in the newspapers of the time, which is a bit odd.

    Many thanks

    Simon

Thanks Paul, much appreciated. And for pointing out I had the wrong date - d'oh!

Note that ASN has the wrong location for the accident - looks like they mixed up Colton and Colyton.
