I would be grateful if anyone can share insights on losses and activities at No.3 (C) OTU, during 20 September - 10 December 1943.

Here is one 3(C)OTU loss:

Took off 2010 to carry out a non-operational night exercise No.3. Six signals were received from the aircraft then at 0133 on 20th November, the aircraft sent an ex Funsted and asked for a QDM. Nothing further was heard from the aircraft and it failed to return to base.

The aircraft flew into a mountain in cloud 1m N of Trawsfynydd, Merioneth.
