On Sept 20th, (1943) Lieut R W Passmore was hit by ack-ack and crashed into the sea. He was posted "missing"
but the circumstances leave little hope that he may have been able to get out of the plane in time.

He was flying in the 3rd Tac/R of the day and was hit at 200 feet
