Fair dues to CWGC, they changed the upload page and removed the name field, and added in bold text to include the persons name. Seems to have improved the results greatly, names listed on most of todays uploads.

Further to earlier speculations re shows and celebrations, was just checking what might still be running this July/ August, and sadly it seems everything appears to cancelled this year. Damn ! Even Eastbourne Airshow I was so looking forward to in mid-August, is cancelled. I cannot understand the mentality behind these daft decisions. Shops, cinemas, leisure, beaches, etc, etc, all opening, but, seaside airshows with people out in the open watching an airshow over the sea, cancelled all ready ? Daft decision, very very dissapointed. Anyone else was looking forward to any event that has been cancelled ?

Airshows have to be planned many months ahead, and involve having emergency services present. All of this would put an unnecessary strain on these services. At the time when most such events have to be planned, there was no way of knowing when lockdown would be lifted. You can't just plans these events a few days ahead, so please don't refer to these decision as "daft" if you don't know about all the months of work that goes on behind the scenes to make them happen. Event organisers don't take these decision lightly.
