    Hi
ORB for AHQ Malta records the arrival of 3 Hudsons and 2 Beauforts from Gibraltar on the 29th. It also records Beaufort DW833 missing
    Gibraltar-Malta on the 29th.

ORB for Gibraltar Command records the despatch of 3 Hudsons and 3 Beauforts to Malta on the 29th, but I can find no mention of any losses.

The Serials database on RAF Commands confirms the crew of DW833 as Charlesworth, Elliott, McEvoy and Tait.

I confirm that Beaufort I DW833 of No 1 OADU was lost on a ferry flight from Gibraltar to Malta 29 Sep 1942,
although "A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945: Volume 2" lists:
10 ADU Beaufort DW823 MiA between Malta and Egypt on delivery flight and
10 ADU Beaufort DW833 MiA between Gibraltar and Malta on delivery flight.

    Hello,

Sgt. McEvoy's Christian names were Oliver James.

J88896 P/O Donald Ralph McEvoy, DFM was an Air Bomber on No. 425 Squadron.

Lost on Halifax LW715 on 15 June 1944.

    Regards,

    Dave

    Hello All,
Do we know when DW833 took-off from Gibraltar?
    TIA
