Hi-I am asking if a forum member could scan a page or the entry only from the Bomber Command War Losses book by W.R.Chorley for Lancaster JB487 which was lost on the 29.12.1943 with No.103 Squadron.Only 1 airman out of 7 was killed and he was Thomas Cook Henderson who came from from Felling,Gateshead. The other 6 aircrew were all pow.I am seeking only a scanned copy by e-mail please.

Do you want a scan, or will a transcript do?

    Lancaster III JB487 PM-G
    Mission: Berlin

Took off 1712 from Elsham Wolds. Hit by flak after bombing, sustaining severe structural damage to the tail plane and losing the use of both port engines. Crashed at Mettingen, 5 km NNE of Ibbenburen, where Sgt Henderson was buried in the town’s Evangelical Friedhof. His grave is now in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery.
