    Default Donald Glass

Does anyone have anything on Donald Glass, an Anglo-Argentine pilot who I'm told flew Liberators during the war.

    TIA:

    Robert

    Hi Robert,

A Donald Henry Glass arrived at Liverpool from Buenos Aires 30 September 1941.

LG shows 1397241 Donald Henry Glass commissioned 25 May 1943. New number 150420.

F/Lt Glass resigned his commission 11 February 1947. Late 40s and early 50s have him traveling to the US from Argentina.

    Regards,

    Dave

Thanks, Dave. Sounds like a good fit.

Would welcome any details of his wartime service.

I came across him as a survey pilot in Argentina, flying a P-38 in the early 60s.
