Good Day all,
This pilot mentioned above , F/O I.S. Macpherson was flying Brigand RH811 when it crashed (84 Sqn) on 19.06.51. His navigator, F/O RE Matthews was killed. Does anyone know Macpherson's first names and service number?
Just a point, in some sources, the initials are reported to be 'AS' but the ORB gives clearly 'IS'.
Thanks
Phil

Colin Cumming's "Last Take Off" RAF Aircraft Losses 1950-1953 has it as "A S MacPherson" who baled out (in light of Col's post - obviously in error)
