    Default Unknown Armband

Any idea what armband this Squadron Leader is wearing? He is already in uniform so what's the significance of the extra insignia?

Yes. As an ex RAF Movs Offr, I can vouch for that one. Gold eagle on a red armband.
In fond memory of Corporal James Oakland AGC (RMP), killed in action in Afghanistan on 22 October 2009. Exemplo Ducemus.
